The non-travelling reserves are Matthew Brown (Super Socks BCF), Sinead Halpin (Manor de Carneville), Lynn Symansky, (Donner), Elisa Wallace (Simply Priceless).

Congratulations to those combinations!

Of course with any naming of a team, there is disappointment. One of these was Buck Davidson, who wrote this on his Facebook page:

“Yesterday, Petite Flower had her vet evaluations with all the rest of the USA horses. To everyone’s surprise, Flower was a bit sore in her feet on a circle. Ultrasounds, X-rays, and flexion tests were all good. I’m so thankful to all the vets for looking out for my girl.

“Needless to say, we are off the Olympic road. First and most importantly, we will find out what’s going on with Flower and then we will be rooting for Team USA.

“I’m sorry for the Martin family and my whole team that supports me. Good luck to everyone in the Olympic process.”
