Chris Harris claims GP

Chris Harris, Glenbrooke Archie Bunker won the Grand Prix

The Canterbury Show Jumping Group held their show over Labour Weekend, with good entries in many classes – and good weather!

The Pony Grand Prix was taken out by Grace Manera and Rednalhgih Cowan, with two clear rounds and the fastest time, just ahead of Rosa Buist-Brown on Junior Disco. Rosa also had two clear rounds.

Grace had enjoyed doing the training sessions with Rob Ehrens at the South Island Equidays, as did Chris Harris who won the Grand Prix on Glenbrooke Archie Bunker. In fact, many of the riders at the show were still raving about how much they enjoyed the international coach’s course.

Chris produced two lovely clear rounds and had the fastest time. Harry Feast and Double J Bouncer also looked in great early-season form, and were also clear in both rounds.

There were many gorgeous show hunters, especially in the pony ring! We hope you enjoy the gallery.  Images can be purchased from the website on this link.
