Well done to James Avery for a win at Gatcombe Horse Trials on Vitali in the CIC2* competition, ahead of a big field. Dan Jocelyn was third on Fjury and James was also 10th on Optimus Prime II. Gatcombe was also the venue for Jonelle Price’s first competition after having baby Otis just a short time ago. She was back out on two of her top horses, Faerie Dianimo and Classic Moet, finishing out of the money but jumping clear cross-country on them both, with just a few time faults.
Husband Tim topped a novice class on Spartaco Del Usignolo, a very smart young horse who won with a 23 dressage score, five points ahead of the rest of the field! Tim is aiming him for Le Lion D’Angers Six-Year-Old Young Horse Championships shortly.
