WEG tickets on sale soon

Tickets go on sale to the public on October 16, and the one-year-to-go countdown to the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Tryon, North Carolina, USA, has begun. With more than 500,000 people expected to attend, the 12-day spectacle of equestrian champions will be the largest equestrian event in North Carolina’s history.
Competition runs from September 12 to September 23, 2018, with the opening ceremony on September 11.
A variety tickets will be available, including an All Games Pass for each or both weeks of competition, an All Session Day Pass, All Session Discipline Pass, individual event tickets, and tickets to the opening and closing ceremonies. An inexpensive Day Pass gives attendees access to event grounds and expo only. A complete list of ticketing options will be available online at www.tryon2018.com or www.ticketmaster.com.
A “Destination Tryon” video has been launched to showcase the region where the Games will be held. Surrounded by mountains and scenic foothills, the area is within an hour of the cities of Asheville and Charlotte in North Carolina and Greenville in South Carolina.
