Consolation eventing win for Emily

Lovely day for eventing at McLeans Island today

Emily Cammock had a win in the CNC3* class on Shaw Lee as well as a quinella in the 95cm class at  McLeans Island today. Hopefully, this went some way towards healing her disappointment of making the long trek up to HOY but no cross-country after weather forced its cancellation.

Emily’s Hastings trip was one she would rather forget, with her truck getting damaged and ferry crossings cancelled, leading to delays arriving home, but today she was on fire at her local event. She was also fifth on her very cute young horse Impeccable in the CNC105 class. Her quinella in the 95 class was on Fraser and Cracker.

Maria van Kuijk and Antara Whiskey Mac were the only combination who completed the CNC2*, so the win went to them, but the CNC1* field was very competitive. Isabella Ashworth won this on Mr J F Hawk, with Brodie Roberts second on SR Livingstone.
