Clarke Johnstone said that he has always loved Adelaide – and he’ll love it even more now that he has won the Mitsubishi Motors CCI4*!

A clear round from Megan Jones put pressure on Clarke and ‘The Snowman’, but he showed how brilliant he is in this kind of situation, also jumping clear to take the win.

Clarke’s mother Jean said she couldn’t watch all the round, but there were plenty of Kiwis whose eyes were glued to the pair. The place erupted when they cleared last jump.

We will have a full story tomorrow, including an explanation from the Ground Jury about the 50 penalty rule that caused so many issues at this event.
Congratulations also to Donna Edwards-Smith who finished seventh on Mr Hokey Pokey and 13th on Tangolooma. Ginny Thompson was eighth on Star Nouveau and Andy Daines was 10th on Spring Panorama.
Look out for more posts on Facebook, and full coverage of the event in our next magazine.
