Winter show jumping at Taupo

Winter show jumping action from the National Equestrian Centre

Baby, it’s cold outside, but that doesn’t stop hardy riders from doing a bit of winter competition. All around the country, winter series are running at venues that provide suitable footing, and most of them are enjoying great entries, even in the wind and the rain.

One of our fave photographers, Jan Sutherland from www.takethemoment.co.nz was at the Woodlands Equestrian Winter Series day two, which had unregistered classes for both dressage and show jumping, at the National Equestrian Centre in Taupo.

Here are a few photographs from the day, with results at the end of the story.
