Fans flocked to see the Wilson sisters at our trade stand today at the Horse of the Year Show.
Holly Kemsley and Kate Roberts are having a great time at the show, but getting to meet the Wilson sisters today at the NZ Horse & Pony tent was definitely a highlight for the girls from New Plymouth.
They have watched the DVDs of the Wilson sisters on Keeping up with the Kaimanawas “lots of times.” Both are planning on competing at the show next year themselves, in the show jumping.
Mya Thomas, just seven, is a “massive fan” according to her mother. “We have been to their show and got a jersey autographed but unfortunately Mya lost it yesterday!” Mya, a member of Tuakau Pony Club, made up for that by getting some more autographs today.
Chloe Glover from Levin has a pony called Argo. She too is a big fan of the Wilson sisters, but it was her mother who drew the picture Chloe gave to the sisters this afternoon.
The many people who turned up to the NZ Horse & Pony trade stand today had plenty of opportunities to get photos taken with the girls, have books and magazines autographed, and ask their heroes lots of questions. We would like to thank Amanda, Vicki and Kelly for the lovely way they interacted with everyone this afternoon.
