Wesko’s owner succumbs to cancer

An enthusiastic horse lover, Christina Knudsen has died of cancer at just 47 years of age.

More sad news coming out in regard to Wesko. His owner, Christina Knudsen, has lost her battle against cancer. The 47-year-old was a keen equestrian, and certainly owned a lovely horse in Wesko. He is not currently competing, due to a tendon injury, but on his form from last year he had been considered an Olympic medal prospect. Tim Price rode Wesko to win at Luhmühlen and was also second at the Kentucky four-star event.

Christina was the step-daughter of Sir Roger Moore, of James Bond fame. Our commiserations to all Christina’s family and connections.
