Mansfeild Park in Feilding is the home of the Bates New Zealand Dressage Championships and there has been plenty of action so far!
Vanessa Way is continuing on her winning way, producing some great results with her team. She hit the magic 70% mark in the Super 5 Final (L7) and then went on to score 72.333% in the Musical Freestyle with her eight-year-old Anamour gelding, NRM KH Arion.
There was little between the top two in the Super 5 Level 9 National final, with Debbie Barke and Lucrative SW beating Susan Tomlin and Dancealong by 0.022! Unfortunately for Debbie, ‘Luke’ slipped on the ramp this morning and has been withdrawn from the rest of the competition as he is a bit sore! What bad luck for the pair.
It’s always good to see our Olympians competing on home soil, and well done to Julie Brougham and Vom Feinsten who won the Super 5 Final L9 CDI3* Grand Prix.
