There were some wonderful flying jumpers when it came to the water complex at Springston Trophy.
The Rakaia Pony Club have invested a considerable amount into rebuilding their track, especially the Mitavite Water Jump, and there was plenty of action in the 600 square metre lake. The old water, which is now more of a splash when compared to the new one, came up early in the course, and many of the horses were not that keen to get their feet wet!
We’ve picked out some of our favourite photos over the water; ones of the horses who really found their wings… plus one who left the take-off to his rider!
