AM Festival of Dressage: Dancing queens

Coverage of the opening day of the Cushionride Auckland-Manukau Dressage Championships in Clevedon

The first day of the 2017 Cushionride Auckland-Manukau Festival of Dressage enjoyed perfect conditions in Clevedon today, and massive entries from around the upper North Island. It’s getting near to the business end of the season, with the Bates Nationals just a fortnight away, so the Auckland-Manukau Champs are an opportunity to fine-tune routines and, of course, qualify for the upcoming Horse of the Year Show.
This year’s show is dedicated in the memory of the late Shirley Watts.
