Southland success for Corey

There’s a small but strong eventing contingent in the Southland region and they held a very successful event over the weekend. While some of the eventers who compete at the higher levels have headed north for Puhinui, which starts later this week, Corey Wood took the opportunity and won the class with an impressive finishing score of 39.7.

In the 1* class, Christchurch’s Lydia Truesdale was rewarded for the trip south, taking the win on Allander Rocket, with just a few time faults added to her dressage score.

Eventing Southland are now looking forward to a visit from Jock Paget on December 14.
