At Taupo, it was a great win in the Total Industrial Solutions CIC3* to Andy Daines on Spring Panorama, an ideal outing as part of their Adelaide build-up. Andy was fifth after dressage, added just two time faults in the show jumping to move up to third, and a clear cross-country with 17.2 time saw them top the class on a score of 71.7. Diane Gilder and Your Attorney were second, finishing on 75.1, and posted the fastest cross-country time of the day, with just 5.6 faults. Donna Edwards-Smith and DSE Mr Hokey Pokey were third on 77.8, losing their lead after dressage due to a slower cross-country.  Campbell Draper and Mr Mancini were fourth. Andy also had a win in one of the CNC105 classes on Giocattolo.

In the Taupo Veterinary Centre CIC2*, Ashleigh Mckinstry continued her good form on Pioneer Brass Monkey, leading from go to whoa, and adding 16 time faults to her dressage score. No one managed to go within the time across country, but Kimberley Rear was one of the fastest, with 8 time faults on Delta Legacy. She finished second. Loran Mathis and Charlton Xplorer were third and Matthew Grayling on Giddyup was fourth.

Some way behind on 56.6 in second spot was Georgia Bennett on Telestory. Greer Caddigan was third on Gymnastic Showdown, and Charlotte Edwards took fourth place on Facade.  Sarah also had a second win, in the CNC95 on Equador MW.

It was a wet day for those competing at McLeans Island, Christchurch. Kirsty Sharapoff won the CNC3* on Shoot the Breeze, recording the fastest round of the day with just 13.6 time faults. Giles Gormack was second on Lucero with Brent Jury third on SE Hedging.

In the CNC2* class, it was a good win to Lucy Turner on Carbon, obviously benefiting from attending the eventing camp last week!  She finished just over 20 penalties ahead of Maria van Kuijk on Antara Whiskey Mac, with Todd Magner and Kawhaka Concorde third.

Mikayla Green won the CNC1* on Star’s Ransom, just ahead of Paige Hardwick who was second on Versailles and third on Ivanoff. Anna Poole was fourth on Valkyrie II.
