Photo essay of a day’s eventing

Those who live some distance from where events are held really show their commitment. Here's a fabulous photo essay of one young rider's day eventing.

Struan Clark and her daughter Frances live in Golden Bay in the far northwest of the South Island (a gorgeous place!). Struan made a photo essay of the trip with horse Zac to the Rangiora Pony Club One-Day Event recently. It is a journey of about six hours. Frances is a keen eventer, so has to travel for the bigger competitions.

We love the commitment these photos show and hope that Frances continues eventing and enjoying her horses.
