Looks like everyone had a great day out hunting at Coldstream over Queen's Birthday weekend!

SCHC_Coldstream_040616_135_watermarkedThe South Canterbury Hunt Club held a meeting at the Studholme family’s farm, Coldstream Estate on the north bank of the Rangitata River. This was the first of two hunts for South Canterbury over Queen’s Birthday long weekend and was held in lovely weather. The meet was well-attended, with the field estimated to be approximately 50 horses including some members of the Christchurch Hunt who travelled south to join in.

Nick Rowley is the Master of the Hunt, with Isaac Allan the Huntsman.  The Club will be holding their Hunt Ball this Friday night, and there may just be a couple of tickets left if you are looking for a great night out!

Photographer Annie Studholme was on hand with her camera to record the day’s activities. You can buy the images and view plenty of others taken on the day on Annie’s website.
