Cantabrians have sprung into action

Sarah Morris, Montalto, won the Novice Horse Hunter class

The Spring into Action show was held today at Canterbury’s Agricultural Park and included a wide range of classes, from the Ataahua Stud Equestrian Event to open and novice showing classes for hacks, saddle hunters, riding horse and ponies, hunter jumping, show hunter, show jumping and dressage.

There were good entries in the show jumping especially, with Arabella Jarman and Pukatea Kokomo taking out the Training Horse 1.20 TA5 after a jump-off.

A lot of the competitors will be back at the Canterbury showgrounds soon, for the Canterbury A & P Show, November 15-17.

We have a gallery of photos from the late afternoon classes for you to enjoy. If you want to purchase any, you can via this link.
